In Search of Countryside Treasure:

An Evening With Graham Harvey

Friday 29th June 8pm

The Croft Hall, The Croft, Hungerford RG17 0HY

Graham looks back on his time with The Archers and explains how it is created. Fans will enjoy the light-hearted pub quiz on the show!

With live music from Alastair Collingwood, songs and readings, including from No Finer Life, Graham explores our relationship with the countryside.

“Farming,” he says, “the state of the land, its impact on the countryside and the quality of the food it produces, and our individual health are inextricably linked. Getting it right is perhaps the most important challenge of the 21st century. Deciding what we do, even discussing it, should not be left to politicians, industry or those working the land alone. Everyone should be part of a great debate.”

A discussion and Q&A session on rural life concludes the evening.
